Our 2020 accidental garden has been a wild wonder. 🌿
Anna & I started planting seeds the first week of sheltering-in-place AND the plants just keep on growing! The plants seem to know we need a beautiful place to wander, fresh bites on hot summer nights, and communion with the bees who buzz in/out of sight.
We have enjoyed new recipes, pondered "what were we thinking" when we pick 100's of cherry tomatoes (there are 1000's more!) AND have appreciated slowing down and sharing LoVe bouquets & veggies with family, friends, and neighbors.
We planted a few pumpkin plants too early - BUT wow are they gorgeous and fun to watch grow. We look forward to seeing what the 20+ varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash blossom into over the next two months.
Truth be told • the garden has kept us moving & it is facilitating a grounding that all of us have needed during the summer of 2020.
